Browser survival horror / ARPG shooter inside a huge concrete apartment block.
GIGAH|RUSH is a free HTML5/WebGL browser game about expeditions through a self-rearranging Soviet-style concrete megastructure. You start in a safer living area, prepare food, water, ammo, medicine, documents, weapons or PSI tools, then follow a quest, rumor, contract or faction lead into hostile floors.
Every trip asks the same practical question: what can you carry in, what can you bring back, and what happens if the floor changes before you return?
The active floor is a living simulation surface. NPCs trade, sleep, fight, hide from Samosbor and can die permanently. Factions react to your actions, zones can change control, prices can shift, caravans move resources, and consequences remain through browser saves as dead bodies, empty containers, marks, rumors and reputation changes.
The central disaster is Samosbor. It can arrive with warnings and sirens: doors seal, fog leaks through cracks, monsters become active, shelters matter, and parts of the current floor can change after the alarm ends.
Current build
- Play directly in the browser: no install, HTML5/WebGL.
- Expedition loop: prepare, travel by lift, decide, survive, return with loot or consequences.
- Unbounded floors with rooms, corridors, lifts, zones, containers and persistent floor memory.
- Story, authored route floors and procedural stops with factions, anomalies, traders, monsters, quests and contracts.
- A-Life NPC identity records with faction ties, routines, inventory, relations, death state and persistent effects.
- Combat, trading, stealing, reputation, inventory, quests, rumors, economy, caravans, production and market pressure.
- Samosbor events with sirens, sealed doors, fog, aftermath, local world mutation and monster pressure.
- Browser saves, journal, map, faction screen, configurable HUD and optional Net Sphere terminal in supported builds.
- Procedural textures, procedural sprites, procedural sound, WebGL raycasting and canvas HUD.
Controls
- Click the game to capture mouse look.
- WASD - move.
- Mouse - look / aim.
- E - interact, talk, use doors and containers, confirm.
- Space or Left Mouse Button - attack / shoot.
- I - inventory.
- M - minimap / full map / map off.
- Q - quest log.
- L - message log.
- F - factions.
- Tab - controls and rebinding.
- U - UI settings.
- Enter - game menu / back / close windows.
- F11 - fullscreen.
On mobile, use the on-screen movement/look sticks, attack zone, [E] interaction popup and menu rail.
How to start
Take supplies from the living area, check nearby NPCs or quests, then leave by lift for an expedition. Return before hunger, thirst, enemies or Samosbor turn the route against you.
Content warning
Survival horror themes, oppressive atmosphere, monsters, combat, death, corpses, blood, weapon use, sirens, confinement, body-horror-adjacent imagery and disturbing procedural events. Not intended for young children.
